This Buick would lookgreat at all your shows and cruise-ins, could be a good business opportunity for photo sessions or weddings, or maybe just something you want to see in your garage! You would be hard pressed to find another one like this. The upholstery is in good condition and has been restored in the past. This Buick is just a pretty car inside and out (exterior, interior, engine compartment, trunk, etc). All of the original gauges work (including the speedometer). Drives straight down the road with no unusual vibrations, pulling, noises, etc. The transmission shifts very smoothly through all the gears (clutch has no shudder or issues). The engine idles well, makes good power, and starts well every time. Very clean engine and trunk compartments.We had plans for this car, but sometimes life has other plans, and we have decided to sell it to someone who we hope will give it a good home! I believe this will be both a fun car and a great investment for the next owner. Just a beautiful original car that has been well cared for by the previous owners. Fuel sending unit probably will need replacement. I acquired it out of an estate, has been stored indoors for several years, so I would highly recommend flushing all of the fluids, cleaning out the fuel tank, and probably new tires before I drove it at any great distance. The trim is intact and in great shape throughout. The paint and body are in exceptional shape. The body lines are unmistakably classic on this '39 Buick Coupe. Of course a back seat could be incorporated easily for the kids or grandkids.
This is a true Business Coupe, there is no back seat, just room for your wares. The original steering wheel & bakelite plastics are very nice.
The dash displays original gauges and brightwork throughout, while the upholstery retains the vintage look and feel. The original trim identification plate is still in place. The engine bay has original sheetmetal from the firewall to the inner fenders and it appears much of the original Bryce Beige (code 539) paint remains under there. The Dyna-Flash Straight 8 is 248 cubic inches and a smooth running engine.
